Lucia Guarnido Started her dancing career at the age of five when she began attending classes at the "Carmen de las Cuevas Dance School", being teached a teacher by artist of the importance of Miguel Medina, Mariquilla, Maite Galán, Manolete, Juan Andrés Maya, Jose Manuel Huertas, Beatriz Martín y Eva "la Hierva buena", and it wasn´t long before when Lucia discovered she would make Flamenco her life. During eight years she was part of the ballet "aires flamencos" of Andalusia. In 1996 she was part of the company "Amor Brujo" choreographed by Manolo Marín and of the flamenco performance "Soy" directed by Manolete. It was performanced for the first time at the "Festival de Musica y Danza de Granada" in the Generalife. Later on she presented this performance in the Teatro Tívoli of Barcelona, and in the Teatro de la Maestranza de Seville, closing the biennial of flamenco. She acted in solitary in the Teatro Alhambra with the reason of the celebration of the woman's First Congress in the scenic arts. At the present time, she is part of Juan Andrés Maya Ballet with the presentation of "Mis raices" in the Teatro Villa of Madrid and performance all around Andalucia with Alba Flamenca. Lucía combines a busy dancing career with various teaching commitments.
MIGUEL SOLER With a family background, begin his musical career with a very young age, being always very related with the Flamenco. His first contact with the "publico" were in the "Peñas flamencas" and "salas" of Andalucía. His first disco work as a solist was in 1992, producted by Disco studies "Fernando romero" in Granada. With this company, he has done some turs around Andalucia. At this tours, he had the opportunity of act with artist like de Chiquetete, Aurora Vargas, Los Chunguitos, Pascual González, Arte y Compás, Mariquilla. In 1997, he do his second musical work. This time, with Manuel Casas. This disco is recorded at the misic studies "Alta Frecuencia", in Sevilla. He presented this disco in the Palenque of Sevilla and was performanced in different places of the spanish geography. For this disco, he got in the most importants radio lists like Cadena 40 principales. Radio Ole, Cadena Dial. He has colaborated with very important radio programs and different performances organised by the spanish radio Cadena Dial y 40 Principales.

Flamenco is the manifestation of an art
form that has evolved over centuries through the collective experiences of the people of
Andalucía, southern Spain. Passed down from generation to generation, the legacy of those first "flamencos" lives on in those who immerse themselves in the art & passion that is flamenco. Alba Flamenca represents the three purist aspects of the flamenco form: the song, the guitar and the dance. The company (Lucia, Manuel, Rafael y Miguel) are be complemented by four other well known artists from Spain to give a performance that is guaranteed to enthral and delight.
RAFAEL SOLER With a family background, from the age of 12, began accompanying with the guitar to his brother Miguel. He studied the flamenco guitar very important guitarists like Emilio Maya, Luis of Millán, José Mª Ortíz, etc.. At the same time, he enlarge his studies with guitarist Manuel Casas. In 1994, he specialises in the accompaniment of the flamenco dance working at the flamenco School "Carmen de las Cuevas" in the Sacromonte of Granada, cradle of the flamenco art of this city; in the "Taller de Flamenco Peña la Platería" with the famous dancer "la Presy". In 1995, he colaborate with his brother in the group Pati-Pami, performing all around Spain with the best artist of the country. He colaborate from 1996 in the tree months course of flamenco dance organised by the University of Granada and imparted by the flamenco dancer Teresa Vilches. He has accompanied the best flamenco singers and guitarist of Spain in different "Peñas Flamencas" the country. like. José Carlos Zárate, José María Ortiz, Luis of Millán, Ramón del Paso and with the young promise of the flamenco dance Lucía Guarnido. At the present time, he works with the important flamenco dancer Angelitos Romero and performance all round Andalucia with Alba Flamenca.
MANUEL CASAS Begin his guitarrist carrer at the age of fiveteen, with several musical stiles like blues, jazz, bossa, samba etcétera like. From 1990, he specialises in Flamenco, playing with "peñas flamencas" all around spain with the most important flamenco artist of the world, like Antonio Trinidad, El polako ... In 1992 until 1994 he teached guitar in level advance at one of the most important Guitar school of the world: "Escuela de Guitarra. Manuel Bellido". In 1995, with Miguel Soler, star playing what is called "New flamenco", " creating the group Pati, playing performing with the most important artist of Sapin, like the international known group Ketama, Maita Vende Cá, Aurora, Los Chunguitos, Rafael del Stand, David Santiesteban, las Soles, Pascual González. |
